HealthCare

"Now this is the change ive been waiting for" thats what ill be saying if this healthcare passes through congress and is not a waterdown version where there are still million appon millions of americans without healthcare. Well im starting this blog as a tool for educating myself through the thoughts views and visions of others. See me like many others have no clue what effect a new healthcare system rather it be a universal or public and private option would have on the economy and on our over all already shaky healthcare system. But i do know that healthcare is the right thing to do and i consider it a smack in the face the when everybody wants me to to believe that this is the best country on earth (witch i do believe even though i have no proof like most americans cause ive never been to another country) but with the statistics and facts its getting harder and harder to just believe. How in the ???? (use your own bad word) do we the most financially lucrative country on the planet rank 37th in healthcare. If you dont already know this let it set in for a second and then realize you cant even name 37 country's off the top of your head. Now is it because we cant afford to do it, is it because that would be too much government control, is it because americans dont care about each others health and well being maybe (my personal favorite) its because the multi billion dollar insurance companies wouldnt be bringing in record profits every year instead they would just be multi billion dollar insurance companies. Please all conservative liberal republican democrat independent black white mecixan asian poor middle class wealthy gay straight lets get together and answer these questions that there are no right and wrong answers too because change is coming but im not sure if its the changing of the world or a changing of the mind you help
